Chilcuague strong, Mother tincture of Chilcuague
Heliopsis longipes. Its colloquial name is chilcuague which comes from the Nahuatl 'chile de víbora' or it is also known as chilmetal or chile de mecate. The "golden root" is a medicinal plant from the Sierra Gorda whose roots have miraculous properties. It has been used for its anaesthetic, antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

How to use: Apply to the affected area. External and internal use.
Precautions: Avoid eye area. Do not aspirate down the throat as it causes a lot of salivation, as if you had eaten something spicy and a choking sensation. If by mistake you inhale it: do not be distressed, try to breathe calmly and in two minutes the annoying sensation will disappear.
